On May 22, 2017, the racing world was stunned when we lost former MotoGP World Champion and former AMA Superbike Champion Nicky Hayden. His untimely death left his family, friends, and racing fans from all over the world devastated. A nine-day event is planned to celebrate Kentucky Motorsports History and Tradition, centered around Nicky Hayden Day & the Memorial Ride. Although on September 29th, 2021, our hometown hero, the "Kentucky Kid", officially got inducted into the Motorsports Hall Of Fame of America, Nicky wasn't about accolades.
